Welcome to Jiang lab!   

    实验室主要围绕暴露组和微生物组在各类自然和人体环境的多样性、功能、进化动态、环境互作展开多学科交叉的前沿研究。暴露组学是一门新兴学科,主旨在同一健康的大框架下,解析联系环境、动植物及人类健康的全景环境暴露动态及其效应机制。实验室集干湿实验、宏观微观、环境人类健康研究为一体,相关具体研究方向有:

  • 宏观和个体环境暴露组(exposome) 的生物和化学组分的多样性、以及其在时间空间上的动态变化(spatiotemporal dynamics)

  • 个体环境暴露组(personalized exposome) 相关的监测技术和可穿戴设备的开发和运用;

  • 泛环境微生物组及微生物从宏观到微观水平的进化动态,种群遗传学;

  • 环境暴露组与人类微生物组互作过程;

  • 环境暴露组与人类疾病健康的相互作用过程及其机理;

  • 微生物组与人类疾病健康和环境的相互作用过程及其机理;

  • 环境暴露组和微生物组相关的分子实验技术和计算分析方法的开发以及运用;

  • 泛环境微生物组深度数据挖掘;

  • 多组学及机器学习在精准医学研究的应用;

  • 新冠病毒功能进化动态;

The Jiang laboratory focuses on multidisciplinary frontier research on the diversity, functions, evolutionary dynamics, and environmental interactions of exposome and microbiome in various natural and human environments. Exposome is an emerging discipline aimed at analyzing the panoramic environmental exposure dynamics and their effect mechanisms linking the environment, plants and animals, and human health within the One Health framework. The laboratory integrates dry and wet experiments at macro and micro levels, with a special focus on environmental-human health interactions and evolution. Specific research directions include:

 

·      Diversity of biological and chemical components of macro and individual environmental exposomes, and their spatiotemporal dynamics

·      Development and application of monitoring technologies and wearable devices related to personalized exposomes

·      Evolutionary dynamics of pan-environmental microbiomes and microorganisms from macro to micro levels, microbiome population genetics

·      Interactions between environmental exposomes and human microbiomes

·      Processes and mechanisms of interaction between environmental exposomes and human disease health

·      Processes and mechanisms of interaction between microbiomes and human disease health and the environment

·      Development and application of molecular experimental techniques and computational analysis methods related to environmental exposomes and microbiomes

·      Deep data mining of pan-environmental microbiomes

·      Application of multi-omics and machine learning in precision medicine research

·      Functional evolutionary dynamics of the coronaviruses

·      Any research questions related to exposomes or microbiomes!
